Competition terms and conditions – RAF Association
How to enter:
You will need to answer the following question either on the RAF Association Facebook page or via email or post according to details in our quarterly Air Mail magazine.
Question: What is the name of the WWI airfield which is home to Vic Norman’s AeroSuperBatics company?
You are only allowed to submit one entry via Facebook and one entry via Air Mail magazine.
Social media
The competition on the RAF Association Facebook page closes at 10am on Saturday 17 July 2021.
One winner will be selected at random after the closing date. The winner will be announced on the RAF Association social media pages on Monday 19 July 2021. The winner must direct message their preferred postage details.
If the winner does not message the RAF Association (the promoter) within 72 hours of the announcement, the winner will forfeit the prize.
If the prize has been forfeited, we will select another winner at random from the remaining entries. This winner will then have 72 hours to respond as detailed above.
The prize selection process will continue until a winner has been selected who responds within 72 hours and who is aged 18 or over.
Air Mail magazine
The competition in the July 2021 edition of Air Mail magazine closes at 10am on Tuesday 31 August 2021. One winner will be selected at random from all the email and postal entries on Wednesday 1 September 2021 and will be contacted by one of our members of staff by email or telephone. If the winner is unable to take up the prize or does not respond within 72 hours, the winner will forfeit the prize.
If the prize has been forfeited, we will select another winner at random from the remaining email and telephone entries. This winner will then have 72 hours to respond as detailed above.
The prize selection process will continue until a winner has been selected who responds within 72 hours and who is aged 18 or over.
Prize details
There are two prizes, to be awarded separately. Each prize is a wing walking experience voucher. One will be given away on Facebook, one will be given away through Air Mail magazine.
Each voucher entitles one person to wingwalk with the AeroSuperBatics team in Cirencester and is valid until July 2022.
Travel to and from the wing walking event is not included in the prize. Winners are expected to make their own way there at their own expense.
Wingwalkers must fulfil the terms and conditions of the AeroSuperBatics wing walking experience. A full break down of these can be found here. Please make sure you are aware of these before entering the competition. You cannot enter if you are affiliated/employed by the RAF Association, this also includes immediate family members.
You must contact AeroSuperBatics to book and organise your wing walking day.
