As we celebrated VE Day 80 last week, we were reminded of the RAF’s role and the immense sacrifices and heroism that marked the end of the Second World War. This milestone offered a poignant opportunity to speak with RAF veterans about the remarkable role they played, and their stories continue to inspire and unite us. Hear from veterans including 107-year-old former bomber pilot Harry Richardson DFC and Mary Marsden who was in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.
