The RAF Association has created a new flexible fundraising challenge which puts participants in control as they help the RAF community.
The charity is inviting supporters to lace up their walking boots throughout October as part of its latest fundraising initiative.
Pete Brocklehurst, Senior Community Fundraiser, commented: "RAFA Walks is open to people of all ages and abilities and participants can take part at a time and location that suits them best. It could be exploring local countryside trails, walking along the coast, completing laps of a favourite park or simply incorporating extra miles into everyday life.
"Participants can also choose to make the challenge a shared experience. Many supporters take part with friends, family, colleagues or local community groups, turning their walks into memorable days out while raising vital funds for an important cause.
"Every participant who signs up will receive a bespoke RAFA Walks medal."
RAFA Walks offers the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, stay active and support the RAF community. The event adds to the charity's calendar of fundraising events which include opportunities such as wingwalking and skydiving.
