The RAF Association’s first ever RAFAKidz nursery in Scotland recently opened its doors.
RAFAKidz Kinloss, located at Kinloss Barracks in Moray, welcomed its first children and families on Monday 6 April. With the opening of the latest setting in Kinloss, RAFAKidz now operates 23 nurseries in and around RAF and MOD sites across England, Wales and Scotland.
Penny Wilkinson, Nursery Manager at RAFAKidz Kinloss, said: “We currently have three rooms catering for children aged four months to five years. We are planning on opening a fourth room so we can accommodate more children under two-years-old. We also have a huge new garden that we will be developing into an exciting new outdoor space.
“Service life can be difficult for families, and serving personnel often struggle to find childcare that suits their unique needs.
“We are perfectly placed to help Service children navigate the unique challenges they face, such as parents being away on deployment or having to move home or school regularly. We ensure the children we look after are fully supported through the challenges that come with being a Service child.”
Your membership and supports helps us to continue to open more RAFAKidz nurseries and create experiences for military children to grow, learn and flourish.
