RAFAKidz has launched a new online resource to help serving families deal with the everyday challenges of parenting and service life.
The Resilience Hub, which is free to use and available 24-7, will provide expert-led online sessions and on-demand resources designed to strengthen the wellbeing of the whole family, build resilience and help parents grow in confidence when it comes to parenting.
The webinars will offer practical and reassuring guidance on common issues affecting families, such as dealing with stress, maintaining routines and improving sleep quality for parents and children.
Parents can watch the webinars live or watch the recordings at a time that suits them. Upcoming sessions are:
- Staying steady: Looking after yourself so you can look after them – Thursday 16 April, 1230-1300hrs
- Healthy sleep for parents and guardians: Supporting wellbeing – Thursday 23 April, 1230-1300hrs
- Coping with stress and change – Thursday 30 April, 1230-1300hrs

These resources will empower parents with strategies that strengthen their own wellbeing as well as their child’s confidence, stability and growth.
Josie Mapes, Executive Director of RAFAKidz, said: “Service life often comes with a unique set of challenges, not just for the person serving, but for the whole family. We hope our Resilience Hub will help families overcome some of those challenges by giving them the tools they need to work together as a unit, improve their wellbeing and thrive as a happy, healthy family.”
