Matches made possible by your support

The Royal Air Forces Association is proud to stand alongside the RAF Football Association, championing the growth of the game and the people behind it. Through an annual grant of £15,000, we are helping to develop women’s teams, support refereeing, and bring unforgettable moments to fixtures such as the RAF vs Royal Navy clashes.

On match day at the RAF vs Navy Fixture at Shrewsbury Town FC, the RAF narrowly missed out on victory, falling 3–1 to the Royal Navy—but the result didn’t dampen spirits. It was a fantastic evening filled with energy, pride, and a brilliant atmosphere.

Supporting and celebrating our military families

This Month of the Military Child, we’re talking to the incredible serving personnel and their families about how valuable RAFA is in supporting them.

Stories like this remind us why our work matters. Behind every child is a family navigating the unique challenges of military life, and we are proud to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and feel at home.

Your support helps make this possible—ensuring military families receive the care, stability, and reassurance they deserve.
