Raytheon UK has once again pledged to support the RAF Association’s annual global cycling event, RAFA Rides, as a gold sponsor.
Raytheon UK, a technology company focused on defence, aerospace, cyber and intelligence, first supported RAFA Rides in 2023 before coming on board as a silver sponsor in 2024. Last year, Raytheon UK expanded on their support by becoming a gold sponsor.
James Gray, Chief Executive & Managing Director at Raytheon UK, said: “Raytheon UK is delighted to play an active role in supporting RAFA Rides and we have been thrilled to see its growth over the past few years. RAFA Rides gives people the chance to reinforce existing connections and make new ones along the way and bring so many benefits to participants’ physical and mental health.
“We were proud to have a Raytheon UK team take part in RAFA Rides at Brize Norton in 2025 and we are planning to return this year to help the Association bring even more benefits to members of the RAF community. Our active participation in the event means we can see first-hand how much of a difference it makes to the riders and we are all ready for the 2026 season of RAFA Rides.”
Cate Driscoll, Head of Partnerships & Events at the RAF Association, said “We’re delighted to have Raytheon UK on board again as a gold sponsor for RAFA Rides 2026. These events continue to grow year on year, attracting hundreds of cyclists from all over the world, eager to forge new friendships and challenge themselves physically and mentally. RAFA Rides would not be the success it is today without the generous support of our sponsors like Raytheon UK.”
Participants can choose from route options of 12, 25, 50, 75 and 100 miles at each RAFA Rides event which will take place on the following dates:
- RAF Marham – Saturday 6 June
- Kendrew Barracks – Saturday 13 June
- RAF Brize Norton – Saturday 20 June
- RAF Leeming – Saturday 27 June
