Raytheon UK has once again pledged to support the RAF Association’s annual global cycling event, RAFA Rides, as a gold sponsor.
Raytheon UK, a technology company focused on defence, aerospace, cyber and intelligence, first launched its partnership with the RAF Association in 2020 when employees volunteered to support the Association’s Connections for Life service.
In 2023, Raytheon UK expanded that support, sponsoring RAFA Rides for the first time and helping the Association to grow the event, bringing together more riders than ever before. Raytheon UK supported RAFA Rides again as a silver sponsor in 2024.
James Gray, Chief Executive & Managing Director at Raytheon UK, said: “RAFA Rides is truly an incredible event and one that has a unique ability to bring people together, reinforcing connections across the RAF community in a way that no other event of this type does.
“Having taken part in RAFA Rides myself at RAF Brize Norton last year alongside colleagues from Raytheon UK, I see how it creates a bond between riders, uniting people who share a common passion.
“I’m excited to return with even more colleagues and cheer on colleagues taking part at other events across the UK, as we help support the work the RAF Association does to make an immeasurable impact to the RAF community.”
Cate Driscoll, Head of Partnerships & Events at the RAF Association, said “We’re delighted to have the support of Raytheon UK again for RAFA Rides 2025. RAFA Rides brings together a strong global community of cyclists who share a common cause – supporting serving RAF personnel, veterans and their families. Raytheon UK is vital in helping us grow that community and make RAFA Rides 2025 the biggest ever.”
