In the anniversary month of the RAF’s founding, we bring you the fascinating story of an invention which turned the tide of aerial combat during the First World War, and a story of heroism with Association member Norman Jackson, as we recall how he earned his Victoria Cross in 1944.

April is also the Month of the Military Child, a time to recognise the children of Armed Forces families. We are celebrating the fifth birthday of RAFAKidz, which cares for military children, with a short video.
