The RAF Association elves are back, with a letter to Santa full of  RAF Association Christmas gifts with an RAF or aviation theme.

You will hopefully find something here to inspire you for that hard to buy for friend or relation. And when you’re done, why not add on a cheeky treat for yourself?!

Dear Santa,

I hope you and Mrs Claus have been keeping well and that the reindeers are ready for their journey on Christmas Eve.

We have all been really busy recently sending out lots of lovely RAF Association Christmas gifts to aviation fans who want to support the RAF community. We were also pleased to have seen our most popular collections selling well at airshows this year. Because of all this activity, we have yet to write our Christmas wish lists. Instead, we’ve all had a think about the sorts of things we’d find useful, so here goes…

I’ll start with Bart, as he’s in need of a makeover. He very much loved the socks you kindly brought him last year, but sadly he only has odd ones left. I still don’t know what he does with them; I’m starting to think he’s eating them. As the weather has turned cold, he would benefit from a smart new jacket, jumper and hat. In fact, whatever clothing and accessories you think would suit him would be marvellous. He’ll be quite the hit at our socially distanced Christmas party!

Percy still wants to become an RAF pilot and we’ve given up telling him it’s not going to happen. Something from the great range of Red Arrows Christmas gifts would therefore be very well received. Anything from our large collection would make his Christmas. Maybe a t-shirt, some slippers, a toy or a Red Arrows lunch bag – you choose for him.

Drew has decided to smarten himself up of late, which may have something to do with him starting to use Tindelf. He would love to receive an RAF-themed tie, wallet or other accessories for those all-important first dates, not to mention some RAF cufflinks or tie slides. He needs to be careful not to overdo it though, as he may ending up looking like a World War Two fighter squadron, covered in Spitfires and Hurricanes!

As with last year, Val said she doesn’t need anything. And as with last year, we are ignoring her! We think she would appreciate some RAF jewellery as a Christmas present, perhaps some of the very popular Red Arrows jewellery if you have any left.

This just leaves young Ant. He says he has been a very good elf this year, but you will know whether he’s right! If you could bring him something from the great range of toys, games and models, he would be a very happy elf.

Thank you Santa, it’s great to know we can all have aviation-themed gifts, with all profits going to helping the RAF community.

P.S. When you visit, please help yourself to something from our food and drink range – our treat.
